The Data Controller acts as a self-employed professional providing naval technical services, maintenance support, regulatory compliance and consultancy for shipowners, shipyards and maritime operators.

For what purposes will we process your data?

The Data Controller will process the information provided by users for the following purposes:

1. Management of the professional relationship and provision of services

Including:

  • Handling enquiries and requests.
  • Delivery of technical, operational or consultancy services.
  • Project-related documentation management (reports, proposals, communications).

2. Preparation of quotations and technical proposals

To prepare tailored offers adapted to the client’s needs.

3. Email communications

To respond to enquiries, provide information and manage project follow-up.

4. Administrative, accounting and tax management

To comply with legal obligations arising from professional activity.

5. Receipt of applications (if voluntarily submitted)

For professional collaboration processes and occasional selection activities.

Data retention periods

Personal data will be retained while a professional relationship exists and subsequently for the following periods:

  • Accounting and tax data: 6 years (Art. 30 Spanish Commercial Code).
  • Tax obligations: 4 years (Spanish General Tax Law).
  • CVs / applications: 2 years.
  • Communications and enquiries: 1 year from the last interaction.

Data will be periodically reviewed and deleted when no longer necessary in accordance with applicable regulations.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

Depending on the purpose:
